Softball Game Preview: Henry-Senachwine Mallards vs. Marquette Crusaders

For the second straight game, Henry-Senachwine will face off against Marquette. The Mallards will take on the Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Henry-Senachwine is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Henry-Senachwine will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Marquette, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Mallards never let the Crusaders get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Monday.

For Marquette's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Durdan, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Henry-Senachwine pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games.
