Soccer Game Preview: Andrew vs. Kankakee

The Andrew Thunderbolts will take on the Kankakee Kays at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Andrew turned things around against Lincoln-Way West on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Warriors could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result was nothing new for Andrew as the squad haven't won a game since September 25th.

Their goal came courtesy of Will MacLeod, who's now up to nine this season.

Meanwhile, Kankakee kept a clean sheet against Thornton on Thursday. They skirted past the Wildcats 1-0. Kankakee haven't had any issues with Thornton recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Andrew's draw makes their record 5-9-3 this season. As for Kankakee, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
