After each having a week off, the Chowchilla Tribe and the Riverdale Cowboys will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverdale took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Chowchilla, who comes in off a win.

Chowchilla is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Boron last Friday. The Tribe simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bobcats 41-12. The Tribe pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bobcats had little chance of recovering from.

Chowchilla got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathan Fuentes out in front who rushed for 150 yards and two TDs. With that strong performance, Fuentes is now averaging an impressive 103.4 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Tristan Beardsley, who rushed for 60 yards and a pair of scores.
