Soccer Game Preview: Lee vs. Godwin Heights

Lee hasn't had much luck against Godwin Heights recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Rebels will head out to square off against the Wolverines. Lee has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lee fell victim to West Michigan Aviation Academy and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against West Michigan Aviation Academy, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 371st, while West Michigan Aviation Academy are ranked 73rd).

Meanwhile, Godwin Heights had just enough and edged out Comstock Park 2-1 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Godwin Heights.

Godwin Heights' win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Lee, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Lee might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Godwin Heights when the teams last played back in April. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
