After losing to Clint the last time they met, Parkland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Matadors came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

While Parkland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-23.

Ruby Fraire paced Parkland's offense, picking up four kills. Fraire got some help from Elizabeth Heimbecker and her five assists. Amerie Aguirre controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Parkland's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Clint, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Parkland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Irvin on the 21st. As for Clint, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Socorro on the 21st.
