Volleyball Recap: Crestview's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

After a string of four wins, Crestview's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Ashland Arrows. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Arrows from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Despite the loss, Crestview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emma Horner had 15 digs. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Horner.

Crestview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Ashland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Crestview's road trip will continue as they head out to face East Knox at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Ashland, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Bellevue on the 6th.
