Alisal took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They put the hurt on the Everett Alvarez Eagles with a sharp 34-14 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Everett Alvarez lost, don't look at Roman Garcia. Despite the final result, he picked up 78 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 86 yards on only 11 carries.

Looking ahead, Alisal is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Leigh at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Everett Alvarez, they will host Rancho San Juan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
