Baseball Recap: McMinn Central Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for McMinn Central's offense. They fell just short of the Alcoa Tornadoes by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Tornadoes recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

McMinn Central's loss dropped their record down to 23-13. As for Alcoa, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 28-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tornadoes beat McMinn Central by a score of 9-5 on Thursday.
