Basketball Recap: Cook Inlet Academy Comes Up Short

Cook Inlet Academy and Fort Yukon squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cook Inlet Academy had to settle for second. They took a blow against Fort Yukon, falling 55-20. While losing is never fun, Cook Inlet Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while Fort Yukon is ranked eighth).

Cook Inlet Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Fort Yukon, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 23-3.

As of now, neither Cook Inlet Academy nor Fort Yukon have any future games scheduled.
