Basketball Game Preview: Lamesa Tornadoes vs. Ropes Eagles

Lamesa saw some tournament action on Friday. They were dealt a 73-41 defeat at the hands of Slaton.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Ropes challenged Iowa Park on Thursday. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Hawks 49-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Ropes' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lamesa, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
