Volleyball Recap: Yucaipa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Redlands East Valley last Thursday, Yucaipa came back down to earth. The Thunderbirds lost 3-0 to the Redlands Terriers on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds were not able to make up for their loss to the Terriers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Yucaipa was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-19.

Yucaipa's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Redlands, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Yucaipa will take on rival Cajon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Redlands is set to face off against their familiar foe Beaumont at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
