Volleyball Recap: Bradford Prep Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Bradford Prep came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Langtree Charter Academy Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Bradford Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-14, 25-13, 27-25.

Emma Watson was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (seven).

Watson wasn't the only good servers: Bradford Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in nine consecutive matchups.

Bradford Prep's record now sits at 11-6. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
