It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Georgetown Day had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They snuck past the Jackson-Reed Tigers with a 56-52 win. The victory was nothing new for the Mighty Hoppers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Georgetown Day's win bumped their record up to 5-19. As for Jackson-Reed, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Coming up, Georgetown Day will face off against Eastern at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Jackson-Reed does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
