South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22-1. As for West, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West beat South by a score of 36-0 later that day.
