Warwick is a perfect 6-0 against Port Jervis since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Raiders at 4:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Warwick managed to slip by Washingtonville the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 17-9 to the Wizards on Friday.

Luca Siebert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Michael Molinelli was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Port Jervis was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against Beacon, falling 12-2.

Warwick has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Port Jervis, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Warwick has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Port Jervis struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Warwick took their victory against Port Jervis in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 15-0 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
