Basketball Recap: Granby Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Granby couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell to the Rockport Vikings 51-46. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Granby's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Rockport, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season.

Granby does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rockport, they will head out on the road to face off against Westport at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Westport's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
