Pleasant Ridge had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They blew past the Jefferson County North Chargers 14-3. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Brady Mance spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Coben Hoppe was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hank Lance, who earned two RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Pleasant Ridge pushed their record up to 13-8-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games.
