Volleyball Game Preview: Orcas Island Vikings vs. La Conner Braves + How To Watch

Orcas Island is 1-9 against La Conner since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Vikings will head out to take on the Braves at 4:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Orcas Island didn't have quite enough to beat Mount Vernon Christian and fell 3-2.

Orcas Island was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mount Vernon Christian work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-14, 23-25, 23-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, La Conner waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolverines.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-5, 25-19.

Orcas Island's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for La Conner, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5-1.
