Lincoln-Way West is a perfect 5-0 against Stagg since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Saturday, Lincoln-Way West came up short against Glenbrook South and fell 2-0.

While Lincoln-Way West was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Stagg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of St. Laurence.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Stagg sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-18.

Stagg's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Lincoln-Way West, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Lincoln-Way West beat Stagg 2-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
