            Volleyball Recap: Houston Wildcats vs. Jackson Center Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Houston was the  3-0 winner over Jackson Center when they last played one another  on September 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of  3-2 on Thursday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Houston wouldn't go down easily and took Jackson Center into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 19-25, 25-27, 25-19,  15-10.
 Olivia Burks paced Houston's offense, picking up 14 kills. Burks got some help from  Lauryn Crim and her 35 assists.  Keaton Turner controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Jackson Center,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at three matches  and leaves them with a 5-11 record.
 Houston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  loss against Russia on the 30th. As for Jackson Center, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-0  defeat against West Liberty-Salem on the 27th.
