Softball Recap: Eastlake Wolves vs. Skyline Spartans
Eastlake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Skyline Spartans. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Mia Atkins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jemma Olson, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
