Riverside won the last time they faced Fabens and Carlos Rojas III did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rangers took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-7 victory over the Wildcats for which the team can thank Rojas III, who rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 84 yards and one TD on only five passes. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Riverside, racking up 16 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Sanzon Alba, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Fabens lost, don't look at Julio Martinez. Despite the final result, he rushed for 117 yards on only 12 carries. Martinez has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 3-4 otherwise.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Fabens, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Riverside nor Fabens have any future games scheduled.
