Baseball Recap: Forest Find Success

With a playoff win on the line, Forest rose to the challenge on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Oakleaf Knights 5-4.

Daniel Wilson was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Forest's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Oakleaf, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season.

Forest will take on Buchholz at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Oakleaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
