Recap: Ashdown Panthers vs. DeWitt Dragons
The Ashdown Panthers extended their postseason success on Friday against the DeWitt Dragons. They had just enough and edged the Dragons out 30-28. The win was nothing new for Ashdown as they're now sitting on three straight.
Despite the loss, DeWitt had strong showings from Justin Ross, who gained 115 total yards and three touchdowns, and Korri Graham, who rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.
Ashdown now has a winning record of 6-5. As for DeWitt, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.
Ashdown will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Harding Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. One thing working in Harding Academy's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. DeWitt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
