Basketball Game Preview: Airport Jets vs. Milan Big Reds

Airport is on a three-game streak of home losses, Milan a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Airport Jets will host the Milan Big Reds at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Airport ended up a good deal behind Flat Rock and lost 67-48. While losing is never fun, the Jets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 635th, while the Rams are ranked 290th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milan). They came out on top against Jefferson by a score of 73-60 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Big Reds as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Milan, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.
