Basketball Recap: Clarke Comes Up Short

Clarke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 72-41 loss at the hands of the Knoxville Panthers. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Clarke's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Knoxville, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Clarke will take on Albia at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Albia will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Clarke surely won't give up without a fight. As for Knoxville, they will challenge Davis County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Knoxville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
