Volleyball Game Preview: Beaverton Beavers vs. Mountainside Mavericks

Beaverton is 1-9 against Mountainside since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Beavers will take on the Mavericks at 6:45 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Beaverton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of South Eugene.

Meanwhile, Mountainside also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Jesuit by a score of 3-1.

Mountainside's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Beaverton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Beaverton might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Mountainside in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Beavers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
