Middleton had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 90-9 victory over the Vallivue Falcons. The Vikings pushed the score to 74-9 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons had no chance of recovering from.

Middleton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Elsie Wyatt out in front who went 10 for 15 en route to 25 points and seven steals. Those 25 points gave Wyatt a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zoey Blackwell, who went 7 of 11 on her way to 15 points and eight steals.

Middleton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Middleton pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.0 points per game. As for Vallivue, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Middleton will take on Emmett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Middleton's defense has only allowed 27.2 points per game this season, so Emmett's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Vallivue, they will host Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
