Soccer Recap: Sodus Comes Up Short

After flying high against Red Creek last Thursday, Sodus came back down to earth. The Spartans came up short against the East Rochester Bombers on Wednesday, falling 5-1. Sodus have struggled against East Rochester recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Sodus' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for East Rochester, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sodus is set to challenge their familiar foe Williamson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Rochester will take on rival Gananda Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
