Mark Keppel took care of business in their home opener on Wednesday. They walked away with a 52-41 win over the Temple City Rams. The victory continues a trend for the Aztecs in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won nine in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Temple City lost, don't look at Mason Collins. Despite the final result, he shot 50% from the field en route to 15 points. Collins is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Dylan Lam, who posted 11 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Temple City fell to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Mark Keppel will square off against Capistrano Valley at 6:35 p.m. on Friday. As for Temple City, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alhambra at 6:30 p.m. on December 1.
