Saugus came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bishop Fenwick Crusaders 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Sachems have posted since May 7, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Nathan Soroko, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Crawford, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Saugus picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Bishop Fenwick, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6.
