After a string of six wins, Northwest's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Tigers. The contest marked the Wolves 's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Northwest will take on Bellevue West at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bellevue West knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Northwest likes a good challenge. As for Valley, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Roosevelt at 7:45 p.m. on February 18th.
