Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Willow

Willow won the last time they faced Southern Lab and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lions secured a 48-44 W over the Kittens. The win was all the more spectacular given the Lions' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Kittens are ranked 34th).

The victory made it two in a row for Willow and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Southern Lab, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-10 record.

Willow has already played their next contest (against South Lafourche), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Southern Lab, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-42 win against Wossman on the 3rd.
