Connetquot came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 12 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Ward Melville Patriots 3-0. This was a revenge game for the T-Birds: when they faced off against the Patriots back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Connetquot walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21, 25-20.

Connetquot can attribute much of their success to Mia Graziano, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Graziano has posted over her last 12 contests.

Connetquot's win bumped their record up to 24-2-1. As for Ward Melville, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Connetquot will face off against Northport at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Ward Melville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
