Basketball Recap: Horton Triumphs

Horton hadn't done well against Hiawatha recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Horton Chargers snuck past the Hiawatha Red Hawks with a 67-63 win. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 56-42 victory the Red Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2022.

The win made it two in a row for Horton and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Hiawatha, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

As for Hiawatha, they will host Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
