It was a good run, but Horse Creek Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Fox Creek Predators by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Fox Creek this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Tyler Simpkins wasn't going to let Fox Creek walk away unscathed as he scored both of Horse Creek Academy's goals, bringing his season total up to seven goals.

Horse Creek Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Fox Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horse Creek Academy will take on Augusta E at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fox Creek, they will face off against Ridge Spring-Monetta at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
