Football Game Preview: Montclair Cavaliers vs. Don Lugo Conquistadores + How To Watch

Montclair hasn't had much luck against Don Lugo recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cavaliers are taking a road trip to challenge the Conquistadores at 7:00 p.m. Neither Montclair nor Don Lugo posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Montclair turned things around against San Gorgonio two weeks ago. They managed a 13-7 win over the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Don Lugo fell victim to Bishop's and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Knights 53-0. While losing is never fun, the Conquistadores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 672nd, while the Knights are ranked 309th).

Montclair's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Don Lugo, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Montclair was dealt a bruising 35-0 loss at the hands of Don Lugo in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
