It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Brownsboro ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Friday. They came out on top against the Wills Point Tigers by a score of  5-1. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
  Lincoln Burton and  Latavien Bell did most of the damage at the plate:  Burton  scored a  run while going 2-for-4, while  Bell  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  Bell a new career-high in  hits (two).  Hunter Snyder was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brownsboro will venture away from home to  challenge Palestine  at 6:00  p.m.  on February 14th. Wills Point will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ford at 7:00  p.m.  on March 4th.
