Softball Recap: Johnson City Wildcats vs. Union-Endicott Tigers

Johnson City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union-Endicott Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Johnson City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evie Perkins, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Johnson City's record is now 0-3. As for Union-Endicott, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Johnson City will host Homer at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union-Endicott, they will challenge Maine-Endwell at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
