Gordonsville scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Van Buren County Eagles 67-62. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in January.

Leading Van Buren County to victory were Cara Mills and Abigial Netherton. Mills dropped a double-double on 28 points and 13 rebounds, while Netherton dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten assists. The contest was Mills' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addacyn Emery, who posted five points.

Gordonsville now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Van Buren County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Gordonsville will welcome Smith County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Van Buren County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bledsoe County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Van Buren County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.6 points per game this season.
