Basketball Game Preview: Farmington Cardinals vs. Alma Airedales

The Farmington Cardinals will venture away from home to square off against the Alma Airedales at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Farmington has 11 straight wins, Alma has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Meanwhile, Alma lost to Russellville on the road by a 59-41 margin on Tuesday.

Farmington pushed their record up to 21-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.1 points. As for Alma, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Everything came up roses for Farmington against Alma when the teams last played last Tuesday, as the squad secured a 78-37 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Farmington since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
