Wood River had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Vallivue Falcons with a sharp 5-0 victory on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Wood River, who have now won 16 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Vallivue with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alberto Romo (2), Jackson Wallace, Mateo De La Torre, and Reidar Slotten.

The win (which was Wood River's seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-1-2. As for Vallivue, the loss snapped their winning streak at 15 matches and leaves them with a 17-2 record.
