Two dominant backs in Gabriel Mcfarland and Avier Elvira are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Vista Ridge Wolves will venture away from home to take on the Palmer Ridge Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vista Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 26.4 points per game this season.

Last Friday, Vista Ridge was able to grind out a solid victory over Rampart, taking the game 21-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Vista Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dominic Williams and Jakehlan Watts. Another thorn in Rampart's side was Smith Ho Ching, who picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles.

Meanwhile, Palmer Ridge sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 24-21 win over Durango on Friday. The 24-point effort marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

It was another big night for Elvira, who rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Vista Ridge's record is now 5-2. As for Palmer Ridge, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
