Basketball Recap: Southland Finds Home Court Redemption Against Delta

There's no place like home for Southland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They managed a 67-61 victory over the Delta Chargers on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Rebels: when they faced off against the Chargers back in January, they had to take a 74-69 loss.

Southland pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.5 points. As for Delta, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Southland will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bell City at 7:30 p.m. on February 20th. As for Delta, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 89-53 defeat against St. Vincent on the 7th.
