Baseball Recap: Des Arc Takes a Loss

Des Arc lost against Woodlawn back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Des Arc lost 15-1 to Woodlawn. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Des Arc saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chad McCary, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that McCary brought in this season.

Des Arc's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Woodlawn, their victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Des Arc will host Newport at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodlawn, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Star City at 8:00 p.m. Woodlawn is facing Star City at the right time seeing as Star City is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
