Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Lincoln walked away with it. They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 72-26 win over the Crest Chargers. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won 26 contests in a row.

North Lincoln's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ally Smith, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 20 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. The match was Smith's third in a row with at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Black, who went 8-for-12 on her way to 21 points along with seven boards and three steals.

North Lincoln smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive games.

North Lincoln's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-1. As for Crest, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

North Lincoln will face off against Erwin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 26 matchups -- so hopefully Erwin likes a good challenge. Crest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
