If Paramount wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Warren, they should've done a better job of containing Jordan Malikin. The Bears put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 31-6 win on Friday with plenty of help from Malikin, who threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns. His passing game has become a key predictor of Warren's success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-6 otherwise.
Warren didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jose Pacheco, Armon Long, and Raymond Thomas picked up one apiece. Thomas has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last five times he's played.
Warren's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for Paramount, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
