Basketball Game Preview: Dumas Bobcats vs. Warren Lumberjacks

The Dumas Bobcats and the Warren Lumberjacks will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Warren is hoping to do what Monticello couldn't on Monday: put an end to Dumas' winning streak, which now stands at four games. Dumas put the hurt on Monticello with a sharp 59-34 victory. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

As for Warren, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (14-9), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.

Dumas didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Warren in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 71-65 victory. Will Dumas repeat their success, or does Warren have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
