Basketball Recap: Rock Ridge Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Rock Ridge came into Wednesday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 34-21 victory over the Osbourn Eagles on Wednesday. This was payback for the Phoenix, who suffered a 46-43 loss the last time these two teams met.

Rock Ridge's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Osbourn, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Ridge won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Warren County at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Osbourn, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Osbourn Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Osbourn Park will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Osbourn surely won't give up without a fight.
