Soccer Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Milton lost against Bellows Free Academy on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Bobwhites/Comets by a score of 3-2.

Milton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Bellows Free Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season.

Milton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rice Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on October 8. As for Bellows Free Academy, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Mt. Abraham at 4:30 p.m.
